Technical Apprenticeships
Duration: 3.5 years

"As an industrial mechanic, you are responsible for the mechanical maintenance and repair of our production machines and the control and regulation systems in the clean room. This involves carrying out repairs on pneumatic or hydraulic machines."

"There are seven different specializations for the apprenticeship as a process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology. I'm doing my apprenticeship in the field of semi-finished products and, as the name suggests, that's where you produce semi-finished plastic and rubber products. My main task as a process mechanic is to process production orders. Depending on which product is to be produced, I take care of the machines setup."

Structure: Training at the company, block courses in Bayreuth, foreign language certification
"ith the apprenticeship as Euro-Industrial Clerk I found a good connection between economic processes and foreign languages. The difference to the industrial clerk apprenticeship lies in the additional foreign languages: Euro industrial clerks have additional, in-depth English classes and another second foreign language in vocational school classes."
