Vanessa Rudi - Industrial Business Management Assistant

How do the first days of the training work? What can I expect in the company? And why RAUMEDIC of all places? Our RAUMEDIC apprentices answer all these questions..

Vanessa Rudi gives us an insight into her time at the company so far. She is currently completing her apprenticeship as an industrial business management assistant.

Hi Vanessa. Tell us a little bit about yourself.

Hi. I am 18 years old and come from Sparneck. I do a lot with friends, so I spend more time on the road than at home.

Why did you decide to train as an industrial business management assistant at RAUMEDIC?

I've always wanted to work in an office. I like having a fixed workplace and being able to benefit from the flexible working hours at RAUMEDIC. I'm good at getting organized and can get my tasks done quickly. I think that helps me a lot.
In addition, I have always been interested in the medical field. I used to want to be a doctor, but unfortunately I can't see blood.

How did you experience the early days of your apprenticeship?

Before the actual start of our apprenticeship, a Welcome Day took place in the summer. This gave us the opportunity to get to know each other and to meet our instructors before the start of the apprenticeship.

I thought it was very good that you could meet the apprentices there who start with you. In addition, we were also able to get to know the apprentices from the higher years of their apprenticeship.

What did you like about your first 150 days at RAUMEDIC?

The atmosphere here is very family like and I got along with my colleagues right from the start. My new tasks were always explained to me in detail so that I could do them correctly.

I was also able to approach everyone in the department if I had any questions and always had a contact person. This helped me a lot, especially in my first few weeks.

And what are you looking forward to in your next 150 days?

I am looking forward to continuing to work as well with my colleagues in the various departments as I have done so far.
It will be very exciting to get to know the other areas of the company and, of course, the people there.

Do you have any final advice for future apprentices?

Don't drive yourself crazy. There is no need to be nervous, because all the staff are very nice and take time for you.

Thank you Vanessa!
